The main themes (brief summary):
Opening speech – All Different – All Equal, Diversity via Difference, Human Rights as the Joining Factor, Intercultural Learning Breaks the Barriers, Let us join for Diversity to Stop Violence, Discrimination, Exclusion, Intolerance.
The objectives:
To discuss the current situation of the countries and explore the possibilities to address the discrimination, influencing the young people.
To set up the framework of policies for ensuring social inclusion of young people with disadvantaged background.
To bring the young people of 9 countries together for strengthening the network of combating against exclusion and discrimination.
To arm young participants with the strategies to use best for youth participation in their home countries.
To create the common space for joint work.
Profile of participants
All participants selected for this course must be:
– Youth leaders and people in position of responsibility in international non-governmental youth organisations (INGYOs), national youth councils (NYCs), national or local youth organisations, actively and directly involved in youth participation projects at local or regional level
– Young staff of governmental or local authority services responsible for youth participation at local and /or regional level;
– youth workers or project leaders active within regional and municipal services, in charge of a project on youth participation
– motivated in developing youth participation projects
– be aged between 18 and 30 years;
– eligible countries

– be actively involved in a youth organisation or governmental youth related service, and in a position to take on responsibilities within multi-cultural or intercultural activities after the event;
– be able to work in working language of the seminar in this case English,
– be committed to attend for the full duration of the forum and be supported by their youth organisation, governmental service or a national agency of the YOUTH programme of the European Union with a letter of recommendation from a responsible member of the staff or board of the organisation confirming their support for both the candidate and their ability to multiply the seminar (Please see attached application form for details and letter of recommendation required).
Preparatory Team of the Event:
The preparatory team of the event composed of the selected partner organization members’ and Trainers team of the European Youth Centre Trainers Pool and external training consultants.
Application and Deadlines, Procedure and Selection of Participants:
All candidates must apply using the enclosed application form. This form should be sent directly to the email address of Organizers, together with a letter of recommendation from the sending organisation or service, no later than 15th of June 2006.
International travel, meal and accommodation costs of the Seminar:
Organizers will cover the expenses of the local transportation, accommodation, meals as well as the cultural program for the participants. Travel and visa costs of all participants will be reimbursed by organisers (the total travel cost cannot be more than 300 Euro), based on the original tickets, invoices and all travel related tickets. Only participants who attend the entire training course can be reimbursed. Payment will be made at the end of the course in Euros. No participation fee will be required for participants.

5th International Student Camp in Zabinki (16-25 August, 2006).
ISC Zabinki is an extraordinary international event that
has been organized every August since 2002 in Zabinki, Poland.
Zabinki is a small village situated in the middle of Mazuria - one
of the most beautiful regions in Poland.
The camp is designed for young people (aged 18-30) from
all around the Europe. Among our participants are university
students, graduates, youth workers, NGO members and young
professionals. The program includes different kinds of activities
and fosters non-formal education, integration and intercultural
learning.
The camp's main goal is to create an international community of
young people and to give them an opportunity to make friends, learn
new skills and gain better understanding of cultural diversity.
