BATCHES AND REFORMULATIONS
I am lucky enough to live in a place where I can find many pre-reformulation bottles of this, so I could test out ALL YEARS of La Nuit. Here you go:
2009:
9KAA: Of course very first formula, creamy, dark cardamom bomb, not that powdery, dark juice, metal-hollow cap. Performance is hard in the first 3 hours, lasts for 12+ hours.
2010:
0FAA: The exact same in every aspects as 2009.
0LBA: They changed the metal hollow cap to a heavy plastic one, and the box as well. It has different formula code, so THE FIRST REFORMULATION HAPPENED IN LATE 2010! The scent itself is not creamy, and dark. More on the fresh, and powdery side.
2011:
1BAA (February 2011): The exact same as late 2010. 8YB02-2 Formula code, first reformulation box and bottle design. Lasts for 10 hours and projects for 2 hours.
62H301 (March 2011): They changed the batch code from 4 digits to 6 digits, the exact same juice as late 2010.
62H805 (August 2011): Same.
2012:
62J604 (June 2012): More powdery, fresher, lighter juice color, a bit less performance.
62J800 (August 2012): Same.
2013:
38KD01 (December 2013 [Edition Art]): Even lighter juice color, even more powdery and less cardamom, even less projection.
2014:
62L608 (June 2014): Same as December 2013.
2015:
38M207 (February 2015): Green, light juice, no performance however it still had the 8YB02-2 formula code...
You can beleive me there is an enormous difference between late 2010 8YB02-2 and early 2015 8YB02-02!
I would not buy any post 2012!
