I am still keen to hear from anyone who:

(i) knows veterans / families of veterans of the Wehrmacht's 822nd Georgia Infanterie Battalion / the other 12 battalions of the Georgia Legion / the Waffen SS Georgia Cavalry Division / German Army Georgian combat engineers / contruction and guard units / Luftwaffe personnel

(ii) would be willing to conduct voluntary interim interviews of such veterans on my behalf

(iii) has specialist knowledge of these units and their 1945 - 47 repatriation by the Soviet Army and the Western Allies / and, also, of the Georgian Communist Party bodies and military agencies whose officers would have administered the repatriations and guarded returning Georgian nationals.

(iv) can send me copies of relevant articles / papers / pix...I welcome, especially, 'uchastie gruzinskoi SSR v Velikoi Otechestvennoi Voine, 1941-45 gg; sbornik trudov'.
