Cosmic Gate არის გერმანული Hard ტრანს დუეტი,რომლის შემადგენლობაშიც შედიან: Claus Terhoeven (იგივე Nic Chagall-ი დაბადებული 1972 წელს) და Stefan Bossems (იგივე DJ Bossi დაბადებული 1967 წელს).
1999 წელს ჩამოყალიბების შემდეგ, Cosmic Gate-ის პირველი სინგლი "The Drums" გახდა, რასაც შემდეგ მოჰყვა "Mental Atmosphere" და მათი რემიქსი "Somewhere over the Rainbow", რომელიც ფართოდ ცნობილი ფილმიდან "The Wizard of Oz" სემპლებს იყენებდა. თუმცა, Cosmic Gate-ს 2001 წელს დიდ ბრიტანეთში გამოცემული სინგლის "Firewire"-ის გამოშვებამდე წარმატებისთვის არ მიუღწევია.
