Article 9 - General Assembly
9.1. The General Assembly is the supreme organ of the Network and consists of all its Members. It shall meet every two years. It may meet in extraordinary session if summoned by the Network Board or upon the request of more than half of its Members. In all cases advance notice and an agenda shall be sent to all Members at least one month before the meeting. The General Assembly may modify the provisional agenda if it is deemed necessary or appropriate.
9.2. The General Assembly shall approve the strategic guidelines for the Network’s activities proposed by the Network Board. It shall elect the Members of the Network Board and decide upon changes to the Statutes, which can be proposed by the Network Board, the Network Management Team or a group of at least a half of the voting members. The General Assembly is charged with accepting the reports of the organs of the Network.
9.3. Each Member organisation shall appoint a duly-authorized delegate for representation at meetings. As a rule, this representative shall be its highest ranking officer or his/her designee. Member Representatives shall have the right to vote at the General Assembly on behalf of the Network Member that they are representing.
