Tiflis Avenue is an art center and a gallery specialized in the contemporary Georgian art. Based in the heart of Tbilisi's historic district, we represent a variety of professional artists working in different media. We offer artists a broad platform to show their works to a wide audience of art lovers, and at the same time, we give our customers a unique opportunity to experience contemporary Georgian art in all of its diversity.
Tiflis Avenue is managed and owned by the family of Iva Khokhlov and Eka Macharadze. Iva, who is a lawyer, and Eka, psychologist, have been passionate for Georgian art for many years, which ultimately led to the establishment of Tiflis Avenue in summer of 2010.
We opened Tiflis Avenue in a beautiful historic building located in one of the most picturesque locations of Tbilisi’s old town, on King Erekle II Street, where we have been holding solo and group exhibitions by a variety of artists regularly. This initiative was quickly followed by a launch of an online gallery.
We hope to be able to spread our passion for Georgian art, and to provide our local and international customers with an opportunity to experience quality Georgian art in all of the diversity of its colors, lines, textures and concepts.
