World music duo Dead Can Dance are finally ready to make good on their promise for a reunion tour. Founding members Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry will commence their first tour since 2005 on August 9th in Vancouver, followed by a lengthy international schedule which sees them performing across the U.S. before traveling overseas mid-September. Gerrard and Perry are also planning their first new studio release in 16 years, and the DCD faithful should expect new tracks to appear on the live setlists. According to Perry via a press release, “It will be a spring album to coincide with both nature’s awakening and the group’s subsequent rebirth.”
