უილიამ თინდეილი (1492 – 1536) - ინგლისელი რეფორმატორი და თეოლოგი. თარგმნა ბიბლია ინგლისურ ენაზე, მაგრამ გერმანიაში, რადგან ინლისში ამისთვის მოკლავდნენ. მიუხედავად იმისა რომ კათოლიკები წვავდნენ ახალ ბიბლებს, სულ გავრცელდა "თინდეილის ბიბლიის" 50.000 ეკზემპლარი.
1536 წელს უილიამი დაპატრიმრეს ბელგიაში და ცეცხლზე დაწვეს ანტვერპენში, როგორც ერეტიკოსი.

ჯობ ბლენდი, ჯონ ფრანკეში, ნიკლას შეტერდენი, ჰამპფრი მიდლტოუნი - ქადაგებდნენ სახარებას ინგლისში მე-16 საუკუნის შუახანებში. 1555 წელს დააპატიმრეს და ცეცხლზე დაწვეს კათოლიკებმა კენტერბერიში, კენტის საგრაფო.
