ჯეგეერთ მეილს დავაკოპირებ ჩემი ინბოქსიდან

As you know I've been living in the Republic of Georgia for some
time now studying the music systems there, particularly the history
of Orthodox chanting.
later
Well, I feel completely privileged to be helping an excellent men's
ensemble come on a four week tour of the United States for the
first time, and I'll be driving and coordinating all of their details.
For the tour to work, I need your help in a small way... Take a look at
the itinerary I'll include below, and come to a concert! That's it.

I would love to see you there.
http://www.villageharmony.org/concerts/anchiskhati.htmlIf you can't make it because you're living in say, Georgia, forward
this email to friends who can come! Since our audience attendance
is going to depend largely on word of mouth publicity, please pass
this email to your friends on the tour circuit.
what can I say? We've worked really hard to bring this choir to
America, and it will truly be a treat. The Anchiskhati Ensemble are
leaders in reviving ancient forms of three-voiced folk singing,
Caucasus mountain dancing (while singing), traditional lute
instruments, as well as the incredibly deep medieval chanting
tradition (also in three part harmony).
They will wear cool costumes that looks like full piece kilts with
daggers at the belt and cartridges on the breast. They speak a
language with its own alphabet, invented in the 4th century, and
including at least six sounds we don't have in english.
Their vocal sound is strident, powerful, at other times sweet,
playful. At all times it is impeccably tuned, but often to the old
manner of Georgian folk tunings. For any music lovers, especially
vocalists, folk instrumentalists, or people wanting to see
something
they have never seen before, this is a must see. Check out the
official press release information below, and the full itinerary.
Pass this best kept music-tour secret only to your favorite
friends!
