The series follows an epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta, leaving the large city quarantined and those stuck on the inside fighting for their lives. The CW is giving its final new show of the season, “Containment,” a bit of prime real estate in the spring.
The show about people affected by a virus outbreak in Atlanta will premiere at 9 p.m. ET/PT Tuesday, April 19 after “The Flash.” The current occupant of that timeslot, “iZombie,” will conclude its season a week earlier, on April 12.
