ბრიტანულ-ქართული აკადემიის დამფუძნებლის, ნათია ჯანაშიას და დავით ცეცხლაძის 24 დეკემბრის განცხადება:
"უკვე მე-11 თვეა, რაც ჩვენ მიერ დაფუძნებული „ბრიტანულ-ქართული აკადემია“ და თბილისის ბრიტანული საერთაშორისო სკოლა ოკუპირებულია ჯგუფის მიერ, რომელიც დაკავშირებულია სს „საქართველოს კაპიტალის“ და სს „საქართველოს ბანკის“ ხელმძღვანელ პირებთან.
ჩვენი ინფორმაციით, აღნიშნულ პროცესს ხელმძღვანელობდნენ ირაკლი გილაური და არჩილ გაჩეჩილაძე, რომელთა ქმედებებში სავარაუდოდ იკვეთება არაერთი მძიმე სისხლის სამართლის დანაშაულის ნიშნები, მათ შორის:
სკოლის წილის თაღლითურად მითვისება;
ოფიციალური დოკუმენტების გაყალბება საჯარო რეესტრში;
სკოლების დამფუძნებლისა და დირექტორის, ნათია ჯანაშიას, უკანონო გათავისუფლება და მის ნაცვლად ირაკლი გილაურის წარმომადგენლის -პორნოგრაფიის პროპაგანდისტის დანიშვნა;
სკოლის ბიუჯეტიდან 3 000 000 ლარზე მეტი თანხის მითვისება;
პოლიციელებსა და მედიის წარმომადგენლებზე სავარაუდო ზემოქმედება დანაშაულებრივი ქმედებების დაფარვის მიზნით;
სკოლის ფინანსური დირექტორის ხელშეწყობით ინსაიდერული ინფორმაციის გამჟღავნება და გადაცემა კონკურენტი სკოლებისთვის;
პოლიციისთვის უკანონო მოქმედებების დავალების უზრუნველყოფა, მათ შორის, სკოლის დაცვის თანამშრომლების სახლიდან გატაცება სკოლის ოკუპაციის უზრუნველსაყოფად; დამფუძნებლების პირადი ქონების მიტაცება და დაზიანება.
არსებობს საფუძვლიანი ეჭვი, რომ ირაკლი გილაურმა აღნიშნული სავარაუდო დანაშაულებრივი ქმედებების განხორციელება შეძლო გრიგოლ ლილუაშვილის დახმარებით. კერძოდ, გვაქვს საფუძვლიანი ვარაუდი, რომ მათ შორის არსებობდა კორუფციული კავშირი, რომლის ფარგლებშიც გრიგოლ ლილუაშვილი ხელს აფარებდა ირაკლი გილაურს შესაძლო დანაშაულების ჩადენის პროცესში და ეხმარებოდა მას, თავი აერიდებინა სამართლებრივი პასუხისმგებლობისთვის.
აღნიშნულთან დაკავშირებით, ჩვენ უკვე ოფიციალურად მივმართეთ სახელმწიფო უსაფრთხოების სამსახურს და მოვითხოვეთ:
1. დაუყოვნებლივ დაიწყოს გამოძიება აღნიშნულ შესაძლო კორუფციულ კავშირებზე;
2. დანაშაულის დადასტურების შემთხვევაში პასუხისგებაში მიეცეს ყველა პირი, ვინც ხელი შეუწყო სკოლის ოკუპაციას;
3. შეწყდეს სავარაუდო დანაშაულებრივი ჯგუფის მოქმედება და სკოლა დაუბრუნდეს მის დამფუძნებლებს.
აღნიშნული საქმე უშუალოდ ეხება ეროვნული უსაფრთხოებისა და კანონის უზენაესობის დაცვას - საუბარია სამოხელეო დანაშაულზე."

Criminal Investigation Launched in the United Kingdom Against the Head of Georgia Capital and the CEO of Bank of Georgia
Criminal investigation proceedings have been launched in the United Kingdom against Irakli Gilauri, Chief Executive Officer of “Georgia Capital”, and Archil Gachechiladze, Chief Executive Officer of “Bank of Georgia”.
The founders of the British-Georgian Academy and the British International School of Tbilisi, Natia Janashia and David Tsetskhladze, have formally submitted an application to the investigative authorities of England and Wales. On the basis of this application, criminal proceedings have been initiated under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom against Irakli Gilauri and Archil Gachechiladze.
The initiation of the criminal investigation has been made possible through the involvement of UK criminal law specialists, in view of indicia of multiple serious alleged offences connected with the unlawful takeover of the British-Georgian Academy and the British International School of Tbilisi. The alleged offences include fraud, abuse of corporate control, large-scale misappropriation of financial assets, unlawful disclosure of confidential and insider financial information, as well as the unlawful seizure and destruction of property.
Based on the factual circumstances of the case, the matter falls not only within the jurisdiction of the Georgian investigative authorities but also within the jurisdiction of UK law enforcement bodies. This is due to the alleged misuse by Irakli Gilauri and Archil Gachechiladze of the business reputation, resources, and operational capabilities of public companies incorporated in the United Kingdom and listed on the London Stock Exchange, for the purpose of committing the alleged offences. In order to avoid potential liability for the UK-incorporated public companies, the aforementioned individuals allegedly acted through legal entities registered in Georgia. However, in substance, both the Georgian-registered and UK-registered entities are reportedly managed by the same group under the leadership of Irakli Gilauri and Archil Gachechiladze.
There is also a well-founded suspicion that Grigol Liluashvili, former Head of the State Security Service of Georgia, may have been implicated in these processes. He has been charged in connection with bribery-related offences and is currently in pre-trial detention. Acts such as the falsification of documents in the public registry, the unlawful deployment of police force, the violent and armed occupation of school premises, obstruction of journalistic activities, as well as the unlawful abduction and intimidation of school security personnel from their homes, and other serious acts, would have been virtually impossible to carry out without high-level protection. These circumstances reinforce the suspicion that state institutions were misused, through the involvement and influence of Grigol Liluashvili, for the purpose of facilitating the alleged criminal acts.
As noted above, in parallel with their application to the Georgian investigative authorities, the founders of the schools have also submitted information to UK regulatory and law enforcement bodies, including authorities responsible for capital markets supervision, from which an effective response is anticipated. In addition, investors in Georgia Capital and Bank of Georgia have been informed of issues relating to alleged investor deception and the abuse of the UK financial market. As a result of these legal actions, the unlawful takeover of the schools - posing a significant reputational risk to companies listed on the London Stock Exchange - has already become the subject of active discussion in international media and among institutional investors.
The founders of the schools express their expectation that the investigations in Georgia and the United Kingdom will be conducted objectively and impartially, leading to the full and prompt return of the unlawfully seized schools to their rightful founders, and to the imposition of criminal liability on all individuals involved in the unlawful takeover.
